Great article! The main thing to remember is when starting your business is to know yourself. What is my passion? What are my strengths? Do I see myself doing this for the next twenty years? Starting a new business is scary. And knowing the reason why you want to do this in the first place will be a constant reminder, motivator for you to succeed.

We become what we think. Often said and is true. In our personal and professional life we are able to obtain as much as we are able to dream. It is always important to think BIG. Starting a business is a lot of work. But half of the hard work is simply staying focus on your dreams and vision. If it's your passion you will both change the world and profit from it.

It started when I was working at a call center. I carried myself like I owned my desk. The customers that talked to me were MY customers. My supervisor and manager were MY clients.

When my art business reached the point where I could leave my job, my bosses said they KNEW I would be successful.

A lotta times, just that change of perspective makes all the difference.

Samax, I really do agree with you regarding thinking as a small business owner. I think most freelancers don't get to that mindset soon enough; as well as employees making the transition to entrepreneurs. It's the thinking that moves us forward physically.
